Luke 5:33-39 (September 4)
In this passage, Jesus is asked why his disciples feast and drink while the followers of others fast. Jesus told them that "Can you make the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?" telling them that when they are in the presence of the Lord, they should celebrate and wake way for the Holy Spirit to fill them. Instead of starving themselves and dwelling on the wrongs they have done.I think that these days, people don't get to receive the love and warmth of the Holy Spirit because they won't accept or they aren't opening themselves to get it. When we feel the presence of the Lord, we should always enjoy it. It doesn't matter if we're happy or sad, when the Lord is with us, nothing will go wrong.
