Luke 4:38-44 (September 2)
When Jesus said “To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God, because for this purpose I have been sent.” it just shows us how in order to spread the word of God, we should challenge ourselves and go to places we haven't been before. We should keep in mind that when Jesus was proclaiming the Gospel, He went to places He has never been before. He wasn't just stuck in the synagogues preaching. He went to the streets and inside houses.
The lesson I learned here was that we all shouldn't just practice our religion inside the church, but we should be courageous enough to bring it outside to the people who need "healing" and "renewal", just like what Jesus did.
