Luke 8:1-3 (September 18)

In this gospel Jesus is accompanied by many women who have been healed and most of these women are said to be healthy and yet there they are abandoning their houses and riches to accompany Jesus. This is the Bible's way of telling us that to bring the word of God to more people we should be ready to either abandon our riches or turn them into something that will benefit the church.

We should walk with Jesus to the places where He is needed like the prisons, the poor, and the youth.
